油畫（an oil painting；a painting in oils）是以用快幹性的植物油（亞麻仁油、罌粟油、核桃油等）調和顏料，在畫布亞麻布，紙板或木板上進行制作的壹個畫種。
作畫時使用的稀釋劑為揮發性的松節油和幹性的亞麻仁油等。畫面所附著的顏料有較強的硬度，當畫面幹燥後，能長期保持光澤。憑借顏料的遮蓋力和透明性能較充分地表現描繪對象，色彩豐富，立體質感強。油畫是西洋畫的主要畫種之壹。
