1、不經冬寒，不知春暖。
譯文： You Don't know spring from winter cold.
2、和尚不說鬼，袋裏沒有米。
譯文：Monks don't talk about ghosts, there is no rice in the bag.
3、不怕學不成，就怕心不誠。
譯文：If you're not afraid to learn, you're afraid to be dishonest.
4、出家三天，佛在面前；出家三年，佛在西天。
譯文： Being a monk for three days, the Buddha is in front of you; being a monk for three years, the Buddha is in the west.
5、彈琴知音，談話知心。
譯文： Play the piano and talk to each other.
6、不怕山高，就怕腳軟。
譯文： Don't be afraid of heights, but fear of weak feet.
7、燈不亮，要人撥；事不明，要人說。
譯文：If the light is not on, ask someone to dial it; if you don't know, ask someone to tell you.
8、錢財如糞土，仁義值千金。
譯文：Money is dirt, and righteousness is worth a thousand dollars.
9、吃人家的嘴短，拿人家的手短。
譯文： Eat People's mouth short, take people's hand short.
10、姜是老的辣，醋是陳的酸。
譯文：Ginger is the spice of old, vinegar is the acid of old.
